Powder Coating Operative – (Knutsford-based) Ref. TGJOB022

Lift manufacturer, Terry Group is seeking a powder coating operative for its Knutsford-based facility. No powder coating experience necessary as full training will be provided but we do require a flexible and enthusiastic attitude and a good team player. 39 hours.

The Role

Loading/unloading the paint line
Palletising painted items ready for distributing to their storage locations
Applying a range of powder coating finishes to a consistently high standard, using manual powder application equipment
Maintaining the required quality of the coated items
Ensuring that good housekeeping is maintained
Following laid down procedures
Ensuring that H&S guidelines are followed at all times, including the wearing of the required PPE

Skills and experience required

Flexible and enthusiastic attitude
A good team player
Please be aware that the role includes manual handling and lifting and requires PPE (breathing face mask)

We offer:

Full training
39 hours per week. Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 1pm
22 days holiday per year, plus statutory bank holidays & birthday
Pension scheme
2 years’ death-in-service benefit from day one of employment until age 65
