Terry Lifts is incredibly proud to support Disability Awareness Day – DAD 2023 as an event sponsor. This year’s event promotes independent living through the theme – ‘It’s what disabled people can do that matters’.
Disability Awareness Day – DAD is the world’s largest ‘not for profit’ voluntary-led pan disability exhibition, held annually. It is co-ordinated by the inspirational Dave Thompson MBE DL.
Now in it’s 32nd year, our national sales manager, Steve Hill alongside Reece, Helen and Bob from our sales and marketing teams joined forces to celebrate the fun-filled family day on Sunday 16th July at Walton Hall and Gardens in Warrington.
DAD 2023 welcomed visitors from across the region and further afield. Alongside family entertainment, a sports zone and arts marquee, visitors met and engaged with around 200 exhibitors, equipment suppliers, transport, holidays, leisure, employment, support groups, and services.
DAD allows visitors to gain insight into the help and support available locally, regionally, and nationally from statutory organisations, businesses, and voluntary sector groups.
As a local, Cheshire-based business, we were on-hand to offer advice and give guidance on our lifts – including the Harmony, Harmony FE, and Melody 1 vertical platform lift.
